- In the land of Permia, hospitality is one of the primary charismas of the Permians. Thus, we encourage Volunteers to have some family or friends visit throughout the year. However, visitors should not stay longer than a weekend, and there is a limit to how many visitors a community can have during the year. While many times visitors enrich the life of a volunteer community, too many visitors can detract from the experience. If a member chooses to invite visitors, the office must be notified and the date/time must be logged.

Permia puts a great importance on maintaining our unity and peace with one another. Members of our community share a common commitment to resolve any conflicts or problems swiftly by first, in a spirit of humility, bringing the problem directly to each other, and then appealing to a third party for help if necessary. In rare and extreme cases, if a member consistently refuses to live according to our agreed-upon terms/standards for moral behavior, their membership would then have to be revoked, and will be asked to leave the community.
